NORTH Wales Police's Rural Crime Team are appealing for witnesses after a cat was shot "several times" on Anglesey.
On Wednesday, March 14, the feline was struck with an airgun on several occasions in the Menai Bridge area.
A spokesperson for the Rural Crime Team confirmed that several pellets had been removed from the cat but some were still inside it.
Members of the public are being asked to help identify two men (pictured above) who were spotted shooting rabbits near the scene of the crime.
One male is believed to be in his 60's/70's and has a full head of grey hair. The second man is believed to be in his late teens or early 20's and has short, dark hair.
Anyone with information is urged to call 101.
