AN INFORMATION day has been organised for people to call in and find out more about the new Hafan Cefni apartments in Llangefni.

The event will be held at Capel Ebeneser on Bridge Street, Llangefni on January 10 from 9:30am and will let locals know about the benefits that the scheme has to offer.

The extra care housing scheme is a partnership development between the Isle of Anglesey County Council and T? Glas Housing Society and is due to open in the summer.

Part of the Pennaf Housing Group, it will feature 63 one and two-bedroom apartments with a wide range of communal facilities available to residents.

Built on the site of the former Ysgol Y Bont School, the apartments will be available to rent for local people, or those with a strong local connection, who are aged 60 or over, subject to eligibility criteria.

Senior Extra Care Manager Carol Thomas said: “With access to 24-hour on-site care, the self-contained apartments are an ideal choice for those looking to continue living independently while being able to access individual care support as needed.

“The new Hafan Cefni scheme has been designed to enable people to live well, in their own home, with access to support that can adapt as their needs change.”

Anyone who is unable to attend, but would like to learn more can phone 0800 183 5757 or visit: www.hafancefni.co.uk.”
