ANGLESEY MP Albert Owen has expressed delight that people in the Dwyran area of the island now have access to superfast broadband.
Mr Owen, who has headed a long-running campaign for all areas of Anglesey to enjoy “a fast and efficient broadband service,” said it was “great news”. He said: “When I met with Clive Selley, the chief executive of [infrastructure provider] Openreach on Anglesey in February, Mr Selley made a commitment that the service will improve considerably for constituents in rural areas by the end of 2017 and we are now seeing results.
“Of course, there is still a lot of work to do and I will not be satisfied until 100 per cent of the island is able to access these vital services, which is why I will continue my campaign and to hold BT Openreach to account.”
