A MAN has appeared in court accused of the murder of a 27-year-old married father-of-two who died following an alleged attack outside a Bangor nightclub.
During a three-minute hearing Kieran Roberts, aged 26, of Penrhyn Avenue, Maesgeirchen, was remanded in custody by magistrates at Llandudno charged with the murder of Henry Ayabowei on April 2.
Mr Ayabowei, of Llangefni, known to friends as Henry Esin and nicknamed “Romeo,” played football for local sides in Anglesey.
He died in hospital in Stoke on Trent after being found unconscious outside Peep in Bangor. Roberts will appear at Caernarfon crown court tomorrow.
