2016 will be remembered by staff and students at Ysgol Tryfan, Bangor, for being the year when it produced some of its best ever GCSE examinations results.
Years of hard work by pupils and staff was rewarded last week and parents were praised for their support by headteacher Gwyn Tudur.
Among the many top performing students at Ysgol Tryfan were Ioan Rheinallt with 8A*s, Cai Fôn with 7A*s and Megan Huws with 6A*s.
Mr Tudur said: “As well as the great GCSE results the school would also like to congratulate the students on an excellent set of results in the Welsh Baccalaureate.
“Congratulations and best wishes to them all.”
