FESTIVAL No.6 has announced the second wave of artists for this summer’s fifth edition of the Portmerion culture and music extravaganza.

Super Furry Animals, Broken Social Scene, Temples and A Certain Ration are among the raft of high profile additions to an already impressive lineup.

Last month, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Hot Chip and Bastille were revealed as the headlne acts for the festival which takes place from September 1 to September 4.

Special guests Super Furry Animals, fronted by Bethesda’s Gruff Rhys, will no doubt prove a huge hit in front of a home crowd.

The inclusion of Canadian outfit Broken Social Scene is another coup. The indie-rock supergroup have a loyal following and helped to propel the solo career of Grammy Award nominee Feist.

Temples make a welcome return to the festival after recording their second album, and Mancunian post-punk funk pioneers A Certain Ratio will hope to show they are still a force after forty years in the industry.

Formation, White, Clean Cut Kid, Babeheaven, Bad Sounds, Shells and breakthrough indie-popsters VYNCE wil also strut their stuff.

The late night electronic line-up has some exciting additions including Gold Panda, Ben UFO, Fatima Yamaha and Crazy P.
