A MAN accused of six common assaults was refused bail when he appeared before magistrates accused of six common assaults on a teenage girl and possessing a BB gun to cause her to fear violence.
Derwyn Edwards, aged 21, of Mynydd Llandegai near Bangor, was remanded in custody to appear at Caernarfon crown court on July 21.
Mel Hughes, prosecuting, told magistrates at Caernarfon that Edwards, a trainee mechanic, was alleged to have pointed the firearm at the girl.
He applied for a remand in custody.
Seeking bail, Simon Sargent, defending, said Edwards intended to plead not guilty to all the offences.
