A 10PM - 7am curfew was imposed on a man charged with arson after a pub blaze which left six people injured, one seriously after leaping from a second floor window.

Mark Parry, aged 35, of Lon y Felin, Bangor, appeared before Caernarfon crown court for a preliminary hearing on a charge of arson with intent to endanger life and an alternative charge of arson being reckless as to whether life would be endangered.

As well as the curfew, a bail condition bans him from Bangor and he must live at Llanrug, near Caernarfon.

An early morning blaze occurred at the Three Crowns pub at Bangor.
