A PORSCHE driver accused of doing 111mph in a 30mph limit said he would deny his alleged speed and that it was dangerous.

Sean O’Grady, aged 24, of Caeathro near Caernarfon, appeared before Caernarfon crown court for a preliminary hearing on an allegation of dangerous driving.

He was allegedly caught three times the speed limit at Menai Bridge last December.

Dafydd Roberts, defending, told the judge the allegation would be contested.

Recorder Wyn Lloyd Jones remanded O’Grady on unconditional bail until a plea hearing on May 12.
