Witnesses sought after Bangor pedestrian struck by car

A FEMALE pedestrian was left with serious injuries after being struck by a car in Bangor.

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on Deiniol Road, near the junction with Love Lane, at about 5.20pm on Friday, January 10 when a local woman in her 30s sustained serious injuries after colliding with a silver Peugeot 207 car.

nvestigating officer PC Arwyn Jones, at Bangor Police Station, said: "This took place at a busy time of day and I’m hoping someone will have witnesses the incident which on first sighting may not have appeared as serious as it turned out.  

Therefore I'd like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision to contact me on 101".
