Motorist injured in Felinheli bypass collision

AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a motorist was injured in a collision near Bangor.

North Wales Police have appealed for witnesses after the crash on the A487 Felinheli bypass at around 8.10am yesterday (Tuesday, January 11).

Investigating officer PC Geraint Jones, of the Western Roads Policing Unit at Llandygai, said: “North Wales Police and other emergency services responded to the scene of a road traffic collision on the A487 Felinheli bypass involving a blue Vauxhall Astra which was towing a trailer.”

PC Jones added the driver of the car sustained minor injuries after the vehicle and trailer collided with a barrier.

He added: “A full investigation is underway and I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision to contact me on 07810 506 373 and quote reference number RC14020290.”
