Thieves steal safes and damage vehicles at an Anglesey industrial estate

AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after two safes were stolen from an Anglesey industrial estate.

Police have appealed for information after break-ins at two units on the Mona Industrial Estate sometime between 8pm on Sunday, January 19 and 4.30am the next day.

A North Wales Police spokesman added: “Several vehicles were also interfered with.
“The safes were later recovered a short distance away.”
