Police hunt motorist after suspicious behaviour

THE hunt is on for a motorist who acted suspiciously in an Anglesey village.

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man in an car approached a young female in Llanfechell.

Investigating officer DC Lisa Jones at Llangefni CID said “At approximately 5:30pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, a young female was approached by a male driving a dark coloured vehicle in the Llanfechell area when she was told to get in the car.

“The female did not enter the car and was uninjured”.

DC Jones added that incidents of this nature are very rare on Anglesey and wished to reassure the community that all is being done to quickly identify and apprehend the offender.
