BURGLARS made off with a Tiffany charm bracelet and a Gucci watch after breaking into a Llanfairpwll home yesterday (Thursday).
Police are seeking witnesses after thieves forced their way into a house on the Ffordd Gwenllian estate in the village and stole the jewellery sometime between 9.50am and 7.15pm on Thursday, January 9.
The thieves got into the house through a ground floor window to the rear.
Investigating officer DC Lisa Jones at Llangefni CID said: “Over the last 12 months we have seen a steady decrease in domestic burglaries and with the continued support and vigilance from the local community I’m sure we can quickly identify those responsible.
“If you witnessed this incident or have any information about who is responsible please contact Police on 101.”
The charms on the bracelet included pendants in the shape of a handbag, a gift-wrapped present, a heart, a casino chip with ‘Las Vegas’ inscribed on the rear, a shoe and a crown.
DC Jones added: “I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may be offered any of the stolen items and ask you look at the photographs of the particular charms stolen.
“It is also worth reminding all house holders to be vigilant at all times, always ensure your property is locked and secured and if you see any suspicious behaviour contact police immediately.”
Anyone with any information should contact police on 101 or call crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference RC14004243.
