THREE men were rescued after they became stuck on a ridge in Snowdonia.
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team was called to assist the men, who were stuck on Tryfan’s Notch Gully, at 3.15pm on Sunday, November 3.
Chris Lloyd, of OVMRT, said the men ran into difficulties when one of the men, who was not an experienced climber, became distressed on the North Tower.
10 OVMRT members were dispatched to help the men, but the team called out RAF Valley 22 Squadron due to the conditions.
The when were then winched aboard the helicopter and taken to OVMRT’s base.
Mr Lloyd said two of the men, who were all in their 40s and from the south west of England, were and unharmed and “very relieved to be off the mountain.”
