A POPULAR Anglesey tourist hotspot has been closed for the "forseeable future" after a fire broke out early this morning (Friday).
Fire crews were deployed to James Pringle Weavers outlet store in Llanfairpwll at 6.35am this morning, after an automatic alarm detected a fire, believed to have started in the store restaurant.
One fire crew from Menai Bridge station and two from Bangor attended the scene, using two hose reel jets and four sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
The fire was eventually brought under control, and fire investigators are now surveying the damage inside.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Store management confirmed the store would be closed for the rest of the day and the "forseeable future", and although the fire was only thought to be small in size, they believe that it may have caused "extensive smoke damage".
