THE public have been urged to be vigilant after a spate of vehicle crimes in Bangor.
Over the past month there has been an increase in the number of thefts from and damage to vehicles, as well as unlawful taking of motor vehicles throughout Bangor.
PCSO Emma Grant said: “We would like to appeal to any members of the public who may have witnessed anything suspicious to contact the police.”
Garth, Lon Pobty, the lower end of the High Street and Hirael are the most targeted. areas.
PCSO Grant added: “We are also asking people to ensure all valuables are removed from vehicles to reduce the temptation for thieves.”
