AN INQUEST will held into the disappearance of an Anglesey teenager.
Joe Hughes, aged 19, of Dwyran, went missing after a night out with friends in the early hours of December 28, 2010.
A major search and rescue operation was launched to find Joe, but there has been no sign of him since he was last seen at the Shell Garage in Menai Bridge at around 12.30am.
A resident living next to the Menai Strait called police after hearing cries from the water at around 3am.
North Wales Police made a fresh appeal for information a year after Joe went missing.
Friends of Joe organised a football match last year to commemorate what would have been his 20th birthday.
A hearing into Joe’s disappearance will be held at the Anglesey Council chamber in Llangefni at 2pm on Wednesday, October 30.
