FIREFIGHTERS spent 19 hours tackling a blaze which ravaged a barn on an Anglesey farm.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to the barn fire Pen yr Argae in Llanfachraeth at 9.24pm on Sunday, and crews were at the farm until 4.15pm on Monday.
Crews from Holyhead, Rhosneigr, Amlwch and Caernarfon attended the fire.
Firefighters used a hosereel jet, four main jets and breathing apparatus to deal with the blaze.
A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the fire involved a motorcycle, a tractor and a “large quantity” of bales.
He added the cause of the fire was spontaneous combustion.
