POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two people were seriously assaulted in Deiniolen.
Officers were called to the Hafod Oleu estate in Deiniolen at 3.39am on Saturday.
A man and woman were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with wounds, believed to have been inflicted with a knife.
Three men from the area were arrested in connection with the incident, and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Chief Inspector Iestyn Davies said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident on the estate to contact police on 101.
"I must stress that incidents of this nature are extremely rare in Deiniolen.”
