THE UNVEILLING of the biggest zip-line attraction in the Northern Hemisphere, in Bethesda, has been called off due to bad weather.
The unseasonable wintry conditions have played havoc throughout the area, and the owners of ZipWorld have been forced to push back their official opening date, from tomorrow (Saturday) to Monday, weather permitting.
Strong gusting winds, heavy rain and snowfall has led to the decision, and the owners have pledged to refund all customers who have made bookings.
The mile-long zip line, which takes adrenaline junkies across Penrhyn Quarry at speeds of 80mph, has attracted interest from all over the Uk and beyond.
