POLICE are calling on the help of the public to trace a 42-year-old man who has been missing from his Anglesey home for more than two years.
Officers believe that David Thompson maybe living in the Brighton area and are calling on him or anyone who may know of his whereabouts to get in touch.
David left his home on Anglesey on September 22, 2010, stating that he intended to seek employment on Cruise Ships in Southampton.
His family or friends have not heard from him or seen him since.
The 42-year-old is described as white, 6ft tall of medium build, has green coloured eyes and a fair complexion.
At the time he went missing his dark brown coloured hair was cropped short and he was clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and denim trousers.
Wynne Lane, from North Wales Police, said: "It has been over two years since David was last seen however recently there have been reported sightings of him in Brighton.
“We, along with David’s family are keen to verify the sightings and want to know that David is safe and well. He hasn't been in touch with family members or friends for a significant amount of time and there is concern for his welfare. We urge him to please come forward and let us know that he is ok.”
North Wales Police are urging anyone who may recognise David, may know or who has information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch on 101 or North Wales Police directly on 0300 330 0101.
