POLICE APPEAL - Burglary at Afon Conwy restaurant

POLICE are searching for witnesses after a burglary at the Afon Conwy restaurant, off the Black Cat roundabout near Glan Conwy.

Thieves broke in to the restaurant some time between midnight and 2am on Thursday, February 2, forced open a refrigerated unit and stole a large amount of meat.

PC Huw Capper, investigating officer, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the Black Cat area of Glan Conwy particularly at about 1.00am on Thursday February 7, who may have seen anything suspicious or who may know who was responsible.

"I would also like to know if anyone has been offered or sold meat in the local area.”

PC Capper added: “I would remind restaurant owners to be vigilant at all times and always ensure that property is secured and to contact us if there is any suspicious activity.”
