Sporting fixtures across Anglesey and Gwynedd this week

Snow blanketed many games in Anglesey and Gwynedd 

LAST weekend’s heavy snowfall played havoc with the sporting schedule, with all football and rugby matches across Anglesey and Gwynedd being called off.

All Welsh Premier League, Lock Stock Welsh Alliance, Stena Line Gwynedd League, Kon-X Wales Anglesey League and Anglesey Youth and Junior Football League fixtures due to be played in the area fell victim to the weather, as did Swalec League rugby fixtures involving all Anglesey and north Gwynedd sides.

Here is a comprehensive list of football and rugby matches scheduled for this weekend.

Football (Kick off 2pm unless stated) - FAW Welsh Trophy Round Four (2.30pm KO): Connah’s Quay Nomads v Bangor City.

Lock Stock Welsh Alliance - Division One: Bodedern Athletic v Denbigh Town, Glantraeth v Beaumaris, Gwalchmai v Llanrug United, Llandudno Junction v Barmouth, Llangefni Town v Glan Conwy, Llanrwst United v Nefyn United, Pwllheli v Caernarfon Town.

Rugby - Saturday January 26 - Swalec Division One East (2.30pm KO): Tredegar v RGC 1404.
