AN ANGLESEY model and actress has been immortalised in a new American
comic book series.

Zombies from Ireland star Siân Davies, of Llanfairynghornwy, was the inspiration for
heroine in Tales of the Red Skye Universe: Venus.

She said: “Publishers Red Skye World head hunted me and messaged my fan page, saying I had the perfect look they were looking for; a perfect muse for the
comic book writer!”

Red Skye World produce a number of adventure comics, each using a model as the inspiration for characters.

In the comic, Venus must battle the forces of evil and save the life of Zeus, and Siân was delighted to be involved with the project.

She said: “I am honoured and privileged that someone hand picked me out of millions of girls on this planet to represent their comic - that’s pretty cool!”

Siân: talks about her modelling work on, which includes a contract with Grey Area coffee shop merchandise, S4C show Y Lle tonight.

She is also looking forward to a Pontio screening of Zombies from Ireland, with a question and answer session, at Bangor University Main Arts Lecture Theatre
at 7pm on February 19.
