POLICE are appealing for witnesses after yobs sprayed of obscene graffiti on changing rooms used by a Bangor junior football club.

The North Wales Chronicle revealed vandals had daubed foulmouthed graffiti aimed at players of Bangor City Pumas junior football club, with similar daubings discovered on the nearby bowling green building.

Investigating officer PCSO Kate Rowlands at Bangor Police Station said: “The damage was caused sometime before Tuesday or Wednesday, January 8/9 and more than likely took place in the evening or overnight.

“The graffiti is offensive and some directed towards a person called ‘Louis’.

" If you are that person or you know who is responsible for causing this damage I’d ask you make contact with me.”

Attempts have been made to clean up the damage but specialists, at a cost, will need to be called in from Gwynedd Council

Anyone with information should contact North Wales Police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously  on 0800 555111.
