THE hunt is on for thieves who targeted unlocked cars in Felinheli.

The thieves’ haul included a laptop, iPod, iPhone, memory stick, camera, Nintendo DS, a squash racket and cash.

PCSO Ian Rooksby said “All the vehicles involved appeared to have been unlocked or insecure and clearly had valuable items left in them which in some cases had been in full view.

"It is really important that car owners remove any personal property and secure it at all times to deter opportunists and avoid becoming a victim of crime.”

The thieves struck overnight between December 3 and 5, and again between December 28 and January 1.

Anyone with information on the thefts should contact PCSO Rooksby on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
