PEOPLE from across Anglesey and Gwynedd have been recognised in the New Year Honours List.
TEAM GB cycling supremo David Brailsford, of Deiniolen, has received a knighthood in recognition of his services to the sport after his team's superb performances in the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Former director of therapies and health sciences at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board Dr Keith Griffiths, of Caernarfon, has been appointed an OBE.
