Second man charged over Talysarn robbery

A SECOND man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery at a post office near Caernarfon.

Simon Hughes, aged 39, of Caernarfon, was arrested in South Yorkshire yesterday (Thursday, November 22) and was today charged with armed robbery in connection with a raid at Talysarn Post Office near Penygroes in September.

North Wales Police said Hughes was refused bail, and will appear before Rotherham Magistrates tomorrow morning (Saturday, November 24).

North Wales Police arrested, and later charged a 30 year Caernarfon man immediately after the robbery and he is currently remanded in custody pending a crown court trial
