Man, 65, attacked in Caernarfon

THE hunt is on for a man who assaulted a pensioner outside a Caernarfon pub.

The victim, aged 65, suffered a serious hip injury in the attack, which happened outside the Wetherspoon pub on Turf Square.

Investigating officer PC Andy Goulding said the victim was pushed to the ground after an altercation with an older, larger man.

The victim is recovering in hospital.

He added: "I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed this altercation."
