Man in critical condition after being hit by car

A MAN is in critical condition after he was hit by a car on Anglesey.

The collision happened on the B5420 on Ffordd Penmynydd, between Llangenfi and Penmynydd, at around 8.30pm yesterday (Sunday).

The man was to Ysbyty Gwynedd. North Wales Police confirmed thedriver of the vehicle was uninjured.

Police closed the road for four hours to conduct a forensic investigation.

Anyone who saw the the man walking before the collision should call North Wales Police on 101, and quote incident number RC1219114.
