RISING rockers The Vaccines will stop off at Llandudno on their forthcoming UK tour.

The London-based four piece, who are currently making waves with the single Teenage Icon, will play Venue Cymru on May 5.

The announcement of the May 2013 tour comes off the back of the bands performance on Later…with Jools Holland and a now completely sold out November UK tour which includes a headline show at London’s Alexandra Palace.

New album The Vaccines Come of Age is the raucous follow up to the lads’ NME Award-winning 2011 debut release What Did You Expect From the Vaccines?

With influences ranging from 50s rock and roll to hardcore 80s American punk, The Vaccines have been compared to The Ramones, The Strokes and cult Scottish act The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Fans of the band should make a date for promises to be a great night.

Tickets are £18.50, plus a booking fee. To book, contact the Venue Cymru box office on 01492 872 000, or visit www.venuecymru.co.uk.
