AN ANGLESEY lifeboat crew rescued a cow after it fell down a cliff.
Trearddur Bay’s RNLI inshore lifeboat was launched yesterday (Monday, October 22) after receiving reports that a cow had fallen from a cliff in Porthdafarch.
An RNLI spokesman said: “The lifeboat launched and with the help of a local farmer, the cow was towed to safety using a bridle.
“The animal was taken to a bay close by where it could safely reach dry land.”
