A GROUP of women completed a 10 mile walk in aid of breast cancer charities.
Bras for Boobs saw 120 ladies who took part, walk from Bangor City’s Book People Stadium to Llanfairpwll and back.
Organiser, Simone Roberts said: “The walk was fantastic - we have raised just under £7000 so far.”
Since the walk on September 23, one lady, Ali Jones, from TalyBont, Bangor, has been presented with the 'Most Inspirational Walker - Bras4Boobs 2012 prize at Plas Rhianfa - who donated an overnight stay including dinner and breakfast.
Ms Jones was nominated by her daughter Sara, her best friend Gill, and a friends daughter Stephanie, who said she was a huge inspiration to them over the past three years while she was battling breast cancer.
Mrs Roberts, said: “It’s amazing for us to have women like Ali join our walk - after all, its about supporting women like Ali and to raise awareness of Breast Cancer.
“She is an inspiration to us all.”
Ms Jones took part in the Bras4Boobs walk proudly wearing a bra decorated with Survivor.
On October 4 further fundraising for Bras4Boobs will take place at The Boatyard Inn, in Bangor, which will be holding a rock n roll bingo night for the charity.
