A MAN has been charged in connection with a stabbing two people on Anglesey garage forecourt.
Keith Williams, aged 55, has been charged with attempted murder on the male victim of the stabbing, as well as Section 18 (Grievious Bodily Harm) for the wounding of the female companion.
Mr Williams has been refused bail and appeared before Holyhead Magistrates this morning.
The stabbing took place at around 10pm on Tuesday, on the forecourt of Tyn Lon petrol station in Llanfair PG.
The male victim, who is in his 50s, was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, for emergency surgery, after he was stabbed in the neck. He is now in a stable condition.
The female, also in her 50s, was stabbed in the chest area but later released from hospital.
Det Ch Insp Andrew Williams, the senior investigating officer leading the enquiry, said: “Incidents of this type are rare and at this time we are not currently seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
“However, the petrol station is in a busy local community and the incident occurred at a time of night when people would have been around. Therefore I appeal to anyone with information or who saw what occurred on the forecourt to come forward and speak to us.”
