SILVERWARE could be on the horizon for Denbigh Town U-10s after a brilliant weekend.
The Central Park youngsters saw off Rhyl Hearts Spartans 2-0 to reach the next round of the Rhyl Junior League Cup.
To put Denbigh’s success into context, Spartans haven’t been beaten in the league this season.
Joe Rowlands gave Denbigh the lead, before Owen Jones doubled the tally with a chip. In difficult conditions, Will Bolton was Denbigh’s man of the match.
