POLICE APPEAL: Information sought over indecent exposure

POLICE are hunting for a youth who indecently exposed himself to a lone woman in her 40s.


Witnesses are sought after a woman walking her dog near the Nova centre in Prestatyn at about 4.45 on Wednesday (January 25) was followed by a youth.


A police spokeswoman said the young man, aged between 15 and 16, shouted to her as she approached the Beaches Hotel and then lay on the grass with his trousers down.


The youth was described as having dark hair and wore a light grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood around his face and dark denim trousers.


DS Mark Abbott said: “Although incidents of this nature are very unusual in North Wales we are determined to identify the individual involved and bring him to justice.


“Officers are keen to speak to two young women who made a call to the police from a telephone kiosk in Prestatyn at 7.55pm the previous night (January 24) reporting a man acting suspiciously with his trousers down.”
