Gareth Pawson and Emyr Williams were on form in the forward ranks, and Cefni stemmed the tide.
With less quick ball available, a speculative downfield kick paid dividends for the Cofis when the presence and quick thinking of wing Dylan Parry caused confusion in Cefni’s ranks, leading to a hack on and gather being grounded under the uprights.
Cefni finally secured a deserved try, Iestyn Dafydd picked up and drove from a ruck to score.
