THE Duchess of Cambridge is set to become a volunteer for Scout groups across Anglesey and North Wales.
Kate, who is living on Anglesey while William is stationed with the 22 Squadron search and rescue helicopter in RAF Valley, will take on her role as an occasional helper in the coming months St James’ Place revealed last night.
The Duchess, who was a Brownie when a young girl, is expected to volunteer with Beaver colonies and Cub Scout groups around her home near Llangefni.
The role is the latest in a number of positions the Duchess has accepted with a range of charities and organisations.
She has been named as the patron of Action on Addiction and the National Portrait Gallery, as well as the royal patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
