A GROUP of quad racing friends are reflecting on a successful season, which saw them dominate the 2011 DQ Racing GNCC Championship.

It was a particularly outstanding season for Trewern siblings Gemma and Chad Pryce, who won their respective categories over seven rounds from February to September.

Twelve-year-old Gemma secured three pole positions and only ended outside the top three on two occasions throughout the season to lift the 10+ championship and will now move up to the 250 Blaster Class in 2012.

Her closest rivals was Welshpool High School classmate Lewis Marston in second, while Pontesbury rider Luke Millington ended the campaign in third spot overall.

Meanwhile Chad dominated the 8-10 category with four pole positions and two runners-up and only dropped one round throughout the championship, while also winning the Wyre Off Road British Championship round.
