THE search for five missing seaman whose cargo vessel sank in rough seas and gale force winds off the Llyn Pensinula has been resumed.

One man is dead and five others are missing after a cargo ship sank amid rough seas and gale force winds 30 miles out to sea yesterday (Sunday, November 27).
A search and rescue helicopter recovered the body of a man after Holyhead Coastguard received a report at 2.30am of a cargo vessel with a damaged hull 30 miles out to sea.
Six helicopters were scrambled, including RAF Valley 22 Squadron, with Prince William on board; RAF Chivenor and two from the Irish coastguard
An Irish fixed wing aircraft was also involved in the search.
Pwllheli RNLI volunteer lifeboat crew were shortly joined by four other crews, including Holyhead and Trearddur Bay.
The two rescued crewman suffered from shock, but were otherwise unharmed.
The search was called off due to bad light at 4.45pm yesterday, and resumed at first light this morning (Monday, November 28).

22 Squadron and the North Wales Police helicopter are searching the coast, along with 11 coastguard teams.
