BARRY Bellis has sensationally returned to Bettws from Spar Mid Wales League One title contenders Llanidloes Town.

The 23-year-old striker began his senior career with the Montgomeryshire League side before embarking on spells with Newtown, Caersws and Llanidloes Town.

However Bellis has now gone full circle by returning to the Tregynon Road club - a decision hailed by delighted Bettws boss Mike Clare.

"There is a real buzz around the club at the moment and I am sure that will grow even more with Barry on board.

"This is a fantastc signing for the club and Barry cannot wait to pull on a Bettws shirt again. He is friends with a lot of the lads and signing for Bettws is like returning to his roots."
