A FIRE has ripped through an office building of the Snowdon Mountain Railway in Llanberis.
The fire started last night in gorse beneath the building, which is built on a raised platform, but quickly spread.
A spokesman for the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they had been called to the fire at 8.51pm and it had taken four vehicles until 2.22am to make the scene safe.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known, but investigations are ongoing.
