LLANGEFNI Reserves, rock bottom of the KonX sponsored Anglesey League last season, find themselves at the top of the mountain after a comfortable 3-0 victory at CPD Aberffraw.

Aaron Owen opened the scoring on 42 minutes, while penalties from Steve Jones (70) and Darron Jones (85) saw the visitors home.

Beffro are away to Cemaes Bay on Saturday, while Cefni will be in Dargie Cup action against Pentraeth on Saturday, October 8.

BOTTOM side Bodorgan’s early season woes continued as they suffered a 4-1 home defeat to Llanerchymedd.

The home side took an early 1-0 lead, but in-form Andrew Bailey levelled from the spot after 42 minutes.

Two goals from Deion Backhouse (46, 73) put the visitors in control, and Dylan Jones finished off Bodorgan with three minutes to go.

Bodorgan will hope for a better result at Llangoed and District on Saturday, while Llanerchymedd welcome Pentraeth.

TWO second half strikes gave Llanfairpwll a 2-1 home win at Cemaes Bay.

Both sides created chances in an open first half, but it was not until the second period that Sion Morris opening the scoring with the first of two.

Tom Wood equalised from the spot before Morris got the winner.

SECOND placed Morawelon’s clash with Amlwch Town Reserves was postponed.
Morawelon are away to Llanfairpwll on Saturday, while Amlwch travel to Menai Bridge.
