FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire in an Anglesey bungalow yesterday morning.

The fire, which happened at a terrace bungalow at Capel Coch, near Llangefni, started in the kitchen of the property.

The blaze took more than two hours to bring under control, during which time it spread to roof spacing above the bungalow and a neighbouring property.

A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that crews from Benllech, Rhosneigr, Llangefni, and Menai Bridge, were called to the fire at 0550.

There were no reported casualties.
