WALES Air Ambulance paramedics based in Caernarfon have received new high-visibility red suits.

The custom-made 'Welsh Dragon Red' suits will help make the crew easier to see during rescue operations, even in poor visibility.

The suits come at a cost of £1,400 each, and are funded by the cahrity's recent fundraising campaign to upgrade the kit and equipment for mission crew.

In order for the suits to be passed safe for use, they were put scrutiny of very strict health and safety tests.

Operations manager for Wales Air Ambulance Jason Williams said:
"The new flight suits provide a vast improvement on the old uniform, allowing for our crews to be picked out easily in an emergency situation.

"The suits also match the charity's colour of red and are a great attraction at talks and cheque presentations that our crews attend."
