THOSE who think that puppet entertainment begins and ends with the Muppets are in for a pleasant surprise at a riotous show in Caernarfon.

The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre brings it gag-a-minute show to Galeri at 8pm on Saturday, September 18.

Sock on the Left and Sock on the Right will bring a mix of song parodies in a Scottish falsetto and slapstick humour that has gained nationwide attention with appearances on BBC3’s Comedy Shuffle and Best Show Ever on MTV.

The Galeri audiences will no doubt enjoy the duo’s take on Big Brother, westerns, politics and even the vuvuzela.

Their Edinburgh Fringe Festival show has sold out for three years in a row and won the Festival Insider Comedy Award in 2009.

Comedian and playwright Kevin F.Sutherland is the brains behind the comic duo.
Kevin is also known for his work for his comic book art on titles including The Bash Street Kids and Marvel Comics characters Ghost Rider and Doctor Strange.

He has also taught children across the country to draw in the comic book style since 2003.

The socks have also appeared on GMTV, Big Brother’s Little Brother since Kevin started the act in 2005.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £8 for children (over 12s only).

To book, contact the Galeri box office on 01286 685 222 or visit www.galericaernarfon.com.
