Bangor city date for DJ Kate Lawler

A Big Brother winner turned top returns to Gwynedd spin a host of top tunes for dance music fans.

Kerrang Radio presenter Kate Lawler shows her skill on the wheels of steel at Underground Venue 342 in Bangor on March 19.

Club owner Nick Pritchard said he was delighted to bring such a well known performer to Bangor.

“We’re really happy to welcome Kate back,” he said. “We always try to bring the very best DJs to the city.”

Kate has become a fixture on the club circuit in recent years and has worked with the likes of Sebastien Leger, Andy Chatterley, Chris Lake, Dean Ramirez and James Zabelia.

She is no stranger to the area after an appearance at Hendre Hall in Talybont last year.

She is best known as the winner of Big Brother 3 in 2002 and has forged a successful TV and radio career, with stints on Channel Four’s Rise and Brainiac: Science Abuse on Sky.

Kate is a fixture of Kerrang Radio’s schedules, as the station’s drive time host since 2008.

Support comes from Dave Purnell. Playing in Room 2 will be John Scudamore and Jackie Baxter.
