Anglesey and Gwynedd bonfire night listings

NORTH WALES Fire service chiefs have urged the public keep safe by attending one of the region’s many organised firework displays over the coming week.

The force has already been getting involved in activities across the region, including halloween parties, discos and organised bonfires.

Gareth Griffiths, Senior Fire Safety Manager, said: "We want to support any organised bonfire and fireworks which North Wales Fire and Rescue Service or North Wales Police are involved with, as these are safest way to enjoy bonfire celebrations.

"We urge everyone to attend an organised display as they are also a cheaper way to enjoy the evening. By helping to support these initiatives we are able to reach a lot of youngsters to get the safety messages about both Halloween and bonfire celebrations so that everyone in the region can enjoy a safe and happy time."

Here is a list of displays taking place in the area over the next week:

Bangor - The annual charity fireworks display on Beach Road, Bangor will take place on November 5.
The fun starts at 7pm. All proceeds from the disply will be donated to charities and good causes.
Organisers would like to thank Bangor City Council for once again supporting the club in carrying out the event.

Beaumaris - Beaumaris Bonfire & Fireworks Display will take place by the pier on November 3 2012 at 6:30pm till about 7:50pm. This year’s spectacular display will be provided by Merlin Fireworks.

Holyhead - Penrhos, Holyhead, November 5. Proceedings will begin at 5:45pm, while the fire will be lit at 6.30pm.
Bangor University Archers will be on hand to light the bonfire flamed arrows, plus the University Brass Band performing on the night.
 

Llangefni - The annual display will take place at Llangefni Rugby Club on Monday November 5 at 6:30pm.

Y Felinheli - The annual Felinheli firework spectacular will take place at 7pm on Monday November 5 in the Beach Road area.
Due to an attendance of over 1000 at last year's display, people are asked not to park down in the Beach Rd area. The display is being organised by Felinheli Festival Committee.
