WARTY Towels will be showing... Flay Otters will be showing...... Fawlty Towers will be showing in Conwy this month when Prestatyn based drama group Centre Stage Theatre Company return to the area.

The drama troupe played to packed houses in November 2010 when they staged A Christmas Carol in Llandudno.

And for their latest show they will be bringing the beloved TV comedy Fawlty Towers to life with three classic episodes.

Penned by John Cleese and his former wife Connie Booth, the company have previously presented seven episodes of the series in Rhyl Town Hall and enjoyed sell out performances at Clwyd Theatre Cymru.

The three carefully selected for Conwy will be The Kipper and The Corpse, The Germans and Communication Problems.

With a 16 strong cast re-creating all the classic roles of Basil, Sybil, Polly, Manuel and their long suffering guests; misunderstandings, mayhem and more will unfold as Basil tries to get himself out of situations only he could create.

Directed for the stage by husband and wife team Rob and Julie Armstrong, it promises to be an evening no comedy fan can afford to miss.

  • Fawlty Towers will be checking in to Conwy Civic Hall between January 26-28 at 7:30pm. Tickets cost £6 on the door, or by calling 01745 887393.
